FLX Bikes — Cruiser Ebike
An electric cruiser where the vintage design language is earned through engineering, not applied as decoration.
The FLX cruiser brief was rooted in the vintage Schwinn Stingray — a bicycle whose proportions and stance defined an era of American bike culture. The challenge was to translate that character into a modern electric platform that earns its heritage through engineering rather than surface decoration.
ZÆT led the full design. Low step-over, swept-back bars, and cruiser proportions were resolved with an integrated electric drivetrain — battery placement and motor integration designed into the vintage frame language without compromise. The prototype was tested across urban riding conditions for handling feel and structural integrity.
