VerseBikes — Mobility Program
Development of VerseBikes' fleet mobility platform — combining custom framework software and dedicated hardware into an integrated management system for institutional e-bike fleet operators.
Beyond the safety accessory range, VerseBikes set out to build the infrastructure layer that institutional e-bike fleet operators actually need: a unified platform combining fleet management software with purpose-built hardware. Hotels, campuses, municipalities, and rental operators deploying e-bike fleets face a consistent problem — the software and hardware they rely on weren't designed to work together, and neither was designed specifically for e-bike fleet management.
ZÆT developed both sides of the platform. The software framework provides fleet operators with real-time visibility, control, and reporting across their deployed bikes. The hardware layer — connectivity modules and fleet control devices — provides the physical infrastructure that connects individual bikes to the platform. Together they form an integrated mobility management system built specifically for institutional e-bike deployment.
The development process covered software architecture definition, hardware specification and supplier sourcing, system integration, and platform testing across realistic fleet deployment scenarios.
