Farmhouse Kitchen — Renovation
Full design, sourcing, and execution of a farmhouse kitchen renovation.
A farmhouse kitchen renovation where ZÆT was responsible for everything: the design, the sourcing, and the execution. Not a design handover to a contractor — a full end-to-end engagement where ZÆT took shared accountability for the outcome from the first sketch to the finished space.
The design developed the farmhouse character through material selection and cabinetry detailing — the specific choices that make a farmhouse kitchen feel authentic rather than decorative. Worktop materials, cabinet profiles, hardware, appliances, flooring, and splashback were all specified as a coherent set, not as individual selections.
Sourcing confirmed every element with suppliers before the build began — no assumptions, no last-minute substitutions. Contractor coordination managed the build sequence, trades alignment, and the quality oversight that ensures a design is actually built as specified rather than approximated under time pressure.
