Stray Cycles adventure bikepacking bike CAD engineering bespoke frame welding concept presentation

Stray Cycles — Adventure Packing Bike

A bikepacking frame taken from idea to buildable concept with a welding partner in place.

Stray Cycles is built around a specific vision: a bike designed from the ground up for loaded bikepacking — not a road bike adapted for bags, but a frame whose geometry, tube selection, and mounting point strategy all start from the assumption that the bike will carry gear and cover distance.

ZÆT began with concept definition — establishing what Stray Cycles stands for and what the adventure packing bike needs to express. CAD engineering resolved the frame geometry, tube profiles, tyre clearances, and the mounting point system for racks, bags, and accessories. ZÆT organised the bespoke frame welding partner: identifying the right fabricator, briefing them on the engineering requirements, and establishing the production relationship. The concept presentation was developed for investor and partner engagement.
