EBKE — Compact Electric Bike
Design concepts, engineering, prototype build, and physical testing for the EBKE compact electric bike — from initial concept exploration through to a validated, production-ready prototype.
EBKE develops compact electric bikes for urban riders who need portability without sacrificing ride quality. The compact ebike category demands a specific engineering discipline: every dimension, fold mechanism, and component choice affects both the riding experience and the folded package. EBKE engaged ZÆT to take the compact bike from concept through to a fully validated prototype — covering design concept development, engineering, prototype build, and physical testing.
ZÆT developed multiple design concepts against the brief, evaluated them for both design quality and technical feasibility, and developed the selected direction into a full industrial design and engineering specification. Prototype build was coordinated with manufacturing partners, and the physical prototype was subjected to structured ride validation and component durability testing.
