Bikkel Bikes — Delivery Ebike
Frame design improvement, engineering, and a full product rendering suite for Bikkel Bikes' delivery ebike — an enhanced model built for the demands of professional last-mile delivery use.
Bikkel Bikes is a Dutch electric bicycle manufacturer with a strong position in the cargo and delivery ebike segment. They engaged ZÆT to improve the frame design of their existing delivery ebike — not a ground-up redesign, but a structured improvement process: analysing what the current model did well, identifying where it could be stronger or more refined, and producing both the engineering output and the visual assets to represent the improved model in the market.
ZÆT's scope covered three areas. Frame design improvement — reviewing and refining the geometry, load paths, and structural architecture for the delivery duty cycle. Frame engineering — stress analysis and material specification to ensure the improved design met the structural requirements of professional delivery use. And product rendering — a high-quality visual suite showing the improved model in multiple angles, colourways, and real-world delivery contexts.
The deliverable was both technical and commercial: engineering documentation ready for the supplier, and marketing visuals ready for Bikkel's catalogue, website, and trade show presence.
